Mr Putco Mafani
Radio & Television legend, Public Relations & Marketing guru Putco Mafani is a preferred MC for many corporate and social events because of his witty sense of humour and his ability to engage with his audience. Mafani boasts an astounding 28 years in the PR and Media industry as he has occupied many influential positions as he was a Public Relations Officer (PRO) for football club Kaizer Chiefs and currently a presenter of one of the country’s biggest radio breakfast shows: The Breakfast Eyondlayo Ekuseni (BEE) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for putcomafani CONSULTING.
A doting father and husband “Bhutiza” as he is known by many of his adoring supporters is a God-fearing, grounded and friendly man who firmly believes and practices the national phenomenon of UBUNTU. Putco vaunts a significant social media presence with a substantial following on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Mafani’s strategic and creative thinking coupled by passion are some of the traits that have catapulted him to become a household name for many years.
He has entertained many at prolific events such as hosting the Old Mutual Choir festival, Buyele’khaya Music Festival and National Sports Awards.
A 2014 South African Radio Hall of Fame Inductee and all round philanthropists, Putco harbors a strong passion for community development and being a key role player in social change with various initiatives and projects aimed at empowering and educating those that are less fortunate.
Mrs Lusanda Mbane
Corporate Executive, Television Actress and Public Speaker Lusanda Mbane, is a noteworthy woman who is a loving mother and wife as well as a Head of: Marketing & Communications at AM Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd, a company based in Johannesburg. A proud Eastern Cape child, Lusanda has always been driven by her will to succeed and prosper which is why after matric she enrolled at the Witwatersrand University for a degree in Marketing.
The energetic, articulate and eloquent Lusanda loves to connect with different crowds and has Programme directed numerous events within the media and corporate fraternity. Lusanda has portrayed various roles in many television soapies such as Generations, drama series like Soul City, and even comedies such as Abo Mzala. She has played the leading role in the following TV commercials: Knorrox Brand Power, Kellogg’s, Rama, Dettol, Omo, Milo and also as the face of SAA in-flight safety video, Lusanda’s face & voice is the one that welcomes you and gives you important safety information on every SAA flight, local and international;
She is also a Brand Ambassador for Vodacom, Lusanda plays the role of “MaKhumalo” in Vodacom’s television advert , The Khumalo’s.
Lusanda’s passion lies in mentoring younger girls. To date, she has visited over 100 schools in Gauteng, inspiring the youth to dream big. To drive this message further, she started a movement known as “Zazi. Zithande. Zithembe” (Know yourself. Love yourself. Trust yourself) in 2012, a movement aimed at revolutionalising the way young girls see themselves.
